Register Your Organization for a Table at the Spring Cougs Connect: Campus & Community Involvement Fair
On Wednesday, January 22 from 11 am to 1:30 pm in the CUB Senior Ballroom, Student Involvement and the Center for Civic Engagement will host a joint involvement fair to promote the wide variety of ways students can get involved on campus and in the community. This action-packed event provides an excellent venue to showcase how WSU students can get involved with your organization or group. If you are an RSO, Greek Organization, a CCE Community Partner organization, or Campus Department and are looking for an opportunity to recruit new members or volunteers, market your organization, or rally a cause to the student body, register for a free table at Cougs Connect! Lunch will be provided for tabling participants. Registration is first come, first served, so register early to guarantee your spot at the event. Click here to register for a table.
Signing in to CougSync
In order to help record service and other activities for students, WSU has changed the login to CougSync. Students will now need to authenticate their accounts by logging in with their WSU Network ID and password. Community agencies are not required to complete this process, so to log in to your account, select the link below the green button that says 'Sign In with an existing OrgSync Account'. When you click on this link, you will be able to enter your username and password as normal to access your portal.
Register and Post Service Opportunities on CougSync
Starting in fall 2012, the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) switched to an online database system called CougSync to list and track opportunities for student civic engagement. CougSync is a recruitment and management tool for community organizations working with students at Washington State University. By registering with CougSync, you may update your organization's information, post descriptions of projects for students, view the current position roster, and search for and manage project matches with courses at WSU. Please contact the Community Partnerships team at 509-335-7708 or firstname.lastname@example.org for information on how to list your organization and opportunities in CougSync.
On Wednesday, October 24, 2012, the CCE offered a special CougSync training to help community partners learn about the many great features available through CougSync to promote their organizations and opportunities. Click here to watch the recording of this training!
