The Real Food Callenge

The Real Food Challenge is an up-and-coming national and student-led movement to shift food on college campuses towards being sustainable, community-supported, socially fair, and healthy (and, of course, delicious).
With all of the student-led gardens springing up everywhere, new academic courses based on food justice issues, and amazing student-led initiatives for better food, [it's] about connecting students with each other to share knowledge, resources, and strengths. By doing so we not only support each other locally, but can build on a cause that will make a much larger impact on our surrounding communities and countrysides! For more information, visit the Real Food Challenge website.

Creating a Healthy Plastic Culture means learning how to use credit cards wisely, build good credit, and start saving." Get Involved in Your Community
To view civic engagement opportunities near campus and establish your own portfolio of community service experiences while at WSU, visit our Students page and follow the instructions to create a service profile on SLPro.

Once you register with SLPro and sign up for a service opportunity, use the Monthly Record of Service Hours Form to track your hours. Your site supervisor must verify your hours on the lines provided. Their signature can either be on EACH line or at a DIAGONAL so their signature is each line where you have hours recorded. Submit your record of service hours to the CCE office located in CUB L48 to have them recorded into the SLPro database. Submission of service hours to the CCE is required of all student participants.
