The Center for Civic Engagement maintains a database of all student participants. Information regarding individual student participation in service learning activities is recorded in the database, including placement and project details and hours of service. Submission of service hours to the CCE is required of all student participants.

Benefits for students include:

1. Direct report of student hours to faculty to fulfill course requirement.
2. Service learning transcripts available to students on request.
3. Continuation of CCE programs for future students.

Recording your hours:

The Monthly Record of Service Hours form is what you will use to track your individual placement hours. Your site supervisor must verify your hours on the lines provided. Their signature can either be on each line or at a diagonal so their signature is only touching each line where you have hours recorded. Turn in this form often to keep your records up-to-date. Please allow two business days for your hours to be entered into the database.
