Programs

Senior Chores & Companionship

This is an opportunity for students to learn about aging as well as different types of disabilities. The Chore and Companionship program pairs WSU students and local senior citizens or people with disabilities in a variety of ways. Students can offer assistance from light household chores such as vacuuming or dusting to yard work tasks such as mowing the lawn or pruning bushes or simply providing companionship through conversation, reading or playing board games.

Are you interested in participating in this program or know a senior that could use additional assistance?  Contact Laura Lahne at lahne@wsu.edu or by phone (509) 335-0577.
