President's Awards displayed at the LEAD event.

The Leadership and Engagement Awards of Distinction (LEAD) event is a celebration of WSU student leaders and those who have mentored and supported the efforts of these students as they work towards leadership and social change. LEAD is the premiere event of the CCE's Civic Engagement Week celebration.

The LEAD program traditionally includes an address from the current ASWSU and GPSA Presidents and Vice Presidents, the inauguration of the incoming ASWSU officers, a Gallery of Leadership featuring other leadership awards from around campus and student projects, and the presentation of the President’s Award for Leadership. The WSU President offers remarks at the event, and President's Award winners have their photo taken with the President.

The LEAD event is open to the public and will take place on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in the Compton Union Senior Ballroom on the WSU Pullman campus.
