Celebrate International Women's Day with Social Activist Mpule Kwelagobe
WSU is proud to invite everyone to this year’s International Women’s Day activities featuring activist and speaker Mpule Kwelagobe. Kwelagobe has made an immeasurable impact on women’s health and socioeconomics in Africa over the past 15 years. Her accomplishments are extensive, including holding a position as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, testifying before the US Congress, and founding her own nonprofit. The keynote address will take place on March 4 at 4 PM in the CUB Senior Ballroom on the WSU Pullman campus and will be live streamed for individuals outside of Pullman. CCE Offers Great Events at Tacoma Rendezvous 2015
The CCE invites Global Campus students and guests attending Tacoma Rendezvous on Saturday, March 14 to participate in the annual Rendezvous Food, Supplies, and Teddy Bear Drive; a live Public Square event on the minimum wage debate; and a resource fair. 2015 WSU President's Award Nominations Now Open
Do you know a Cougar leader? Nominate them for the 2015 President's Award for Leadership! The 2015 award categories are student, student group, faculty or staff, and community organization. Student nominations are due March 8, 2015. Student applications and nominations for student groups, community organizations, and faculty or staff are due by March 22, 2015. CCE One-Time Service Projects Available All Year
The CCE offers a variety of staff-led one-time service projects throughout the year that are open to all students. Transportation is provided! You can download the February and March calendars for a daily view of projects, although you must register for the projects on CougSync to reserve your space. We hope to see you on an upcoming project!

You can view available projects by clicking 'Service Opportunities' from the WSU Pullman community homepage. You can receive updates and sign up for events on the CCE CougSync Portal.
