Inequality in Law Enforcement?
A Public Square Event
Recent events in Ferguson, Missouri and New York City have once again brought questions of inequality in law enforcement to the forefront of a national conversation. Join students, faculty, staff, and community members in a civil discussion about these issues and how we can begin to understand this complicated topic at the Public Square on Thursday, February 5 at noon in Butch’s Den. This event will be live streamed for Global Campus students. Click here to learn more and to register.
Coug Day at the Capitol (February 15-16, 2015)
From February 15-16, 2015, your ASWSU representatives are hosting the annual Coug Day at the Capitol. Coug Day at the Capitol is ASWSU's annual lobby day where students will be traveling to Olympia to directly meet with legislators and discuss higher education issues. This is a great opportunity for students to take an active role in ensuring that their education remains affordable and competitive and to practice your public speaking skills. Registration is open for WSU Pullman undergrads (due 2/6), Pullman grads (due 1/30), Global Campus students (due 2/1), and Vancouver students (due 1/28). Learn more about election events here.
