WSU Receives Dual Recognition for Community Engagement
WSU has been named to the 2014 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll in both the general community service and education categories. This designation is the highest honor a university can receive for its commitment to student civic engagement and community service. WSU was also honored by the Carnegie Foundation with a renewal of the Community Engagement Classification. To earn this honor, universities must demonstrate a wide range of mutually beneficial partnerships with communities.
